Recently, reporters visited the workshop of Lishui Ouyi Valve Co., Ltd., where automated production lines were running at full capacity, with workers expediting ball‑valve orders for Saudi Arabia. “We have secured an order worth 200 million yuan, so our production lines are running at full load,” said Chen Chao, Deputy General Manager, with palpable drive and enthusiasm. Rooted in Liandu for 17 years, the enterprise exports 70% of its products to over 50 countries including Germany, Italy and Turkey.

Competing in high‑end overseas markets, Ouyi Valve has earned its reputation through precision and strict standards. “The roundness and surface finish of valve balls are key quality benchmarks,” explained Xing Zhili, Technical Manager. The company has imported custom‑built large‑scale integrated turning‑grinding machining centers ranging from 8‑inch to 64‑inch from abroad. The dimensional tolerance of valve balls is controlled within 0.02 mm, surpassing international standards, while production efficiency has risen by 50%. Furthermore, Ouyi Valve operates in strict compliance with ISO9001, implementing full‑process quality control covering raw‑material procurement through production and delivery.

      In the upstream supply chain segment, Zhejiang Chaoda Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. focuses on the segmented field of castings and forgings. It currently supplies small‑batch products to nearby supporting enterprises. Once its full production capacity is unleashed, it will effectively strengthen the upstream supporting links of the industrial chain.

The company signed an investment agreement of 1.12 billion yuan in 2024 for its “Annual Output of 20,000 Tons of Precision Castings & Forgings” project. Trial production kicked off in April this year, and it achieved designated‑size enterprise status only three months later, laying a solid foundation for strengthening and completing the industrial chain.

Cai Liyong, person‑in‑charge, stated that Liandu was chosen as the settlement location because “our clients are right here nearby”.

After 17 years of development, Liandu’s valve industry has built a full industrial chain cluster covering castings & forgings, precision machining, inspection and sales. It boasts 129 industrial enterprises above designated size. Its output value exceeded 9.44 billion yuan in 2025, with an average annual growth rate of 25.98% over the past three years. The precision ball valve industrial cluster has been listed as a Provincial Characteristic Industrial Cluster for Small and Medium‑sized Enterprises.
